Information Collection For Background Screening Purposes.
DCI Resources, Inc. will only collect “Personally Identifiable Information” about you if you voluntarily choose to provide such information to DCI Resources, Inc. and/or in connection with a background check authorized by you and/or applicable laws. “Personally Identifiable Information” that DCI Resources, Inc. may collect about you through our website or otherwise may include, but is not limited, to: name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, birthplace, driver’s license number, social security number, employer, employment details, education verification and information regarding prior criminal proceedings, civil proceedings, or credit activities.
Use of Information.
When DCI Resources, Inc. requests “Personally Identifiable Information” from you, it will inform you about the purpose for collecting that information at the time of collection, and the information will be used only in the manner specified by DCI Resources, Inc. when it is collected, unless you consent to another use.
If you have provided “Personally Identifiable Information” to DCI Resources, Inc. in connection with a background check ordered by a client of DCI Resources, Inc., DCI Resources, Inc. may use such information to conduct a background check for that client. Before providing any report to a client, DCI Resources, Inc. will obtain certifications from the client that the client will comply with all applicable terms under the FCRA and other Federal, State and Local Laws. Such certifications will include a statement that DCI Resources, Inc.’s client has a legally permissible purpose for ordering the background check and that it has, where appropriate under applicable law, obtained your informed consent to conduct the background screen.
Personal Information Disclosure: United States or Overseas.
DCI Resources, Inc. will not disclose your personal information to a third party, except in accordance with applicable laws.
Typically, DCI Resources, Inc. will only disclose personal information regarding the subject of a background check to a third party in the following situations:
Where DCI Resources, Inc. transfers personal information to a representative or third party subcontractor assisting with a background check, DCI Resources, Inc. provides only the information required to assist with the background check. DCI Resources, Inc. prohibits such third-party representatives and subcontractors from using consumer information for any purpose other than assisting DCI Resources, Inc. with the background check. DCI Resources, Inc. also contractually requires such third party representatives and subcontractors to maintain commercially reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of consumer information they receive.
Generally, DCI Resources, Inc. does not transfer information to third parties outside of the United States or its territories. Such transfers would be done if necessary to complete an international background check (e.g., conducting an international criminal check or verifying educational or employment records outside of the U.S.).
If DCI Resources, Inc. or its assets are acquired by another company, that company will assume responsibility for the personal information collected by DCI Resources, Inc. through the website, and it will assume the rights and obligations regarding the collection and use of such information, as described in this Privacy Policy. DCI Resources, Inc. will not permit another business in such a circumstance to review or examine the information DCI Resources, Inc. has collected without a confidentiality agreement in place and only to the extent required by law.

Access to certain portions of DCI Resources, Inc.’s website is restricted to DCI Resources, Inc.’s clients only, and requires a user login and password. Policy Changes and Additional Information.
DCI Resources, Inc. may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If DCI Resources, Inc. makes any material changes to the Privacy Policy, the date of the most recent revision will be stated on the Privacy Policy so you can determine whether there have been any material changes since your last review of the Privacy Policy.
