Q: What is your turn around for your nanny packages?
A: Turn around for our nanny packages vary from state to state. Average turnaround takes anywhere from 1 to 3 business days. If you do not receive your results after 3 days please contact our office as soon as possible as your results should have already been returned to you.
Q: I requested my results to be returned by email but have not seen my results. What should I do?
A: If you requested your results to be returned by email, please make sure you check all spam folders. All yahoo email users should check their “Bulk” folder, as our results are usually found in this folder. Please do not send your request again because it could be perceived as a new request and if it is processed more than once you will be charged twice.
Q: What information do I need to send you to request a nanny background check?
A: Please click on our link for “Download Forms” and choose the Nanny Background Check Request Form. This form will ask you all the information we will need to runt he background check for you. If you are having trouble downloading the form, the include a cover page with the following information: Your name and phone number, the nanny package you choose to conduct, a fax number or email address where we can return your results and payment information including your credit card number, expiration date and signature authorizing use to charge your credit card for the background check. We do accept credit card information over the phone if you are concerned about your privacy.
Q: What credit cards do you take?
A: We accept all major credit cards, including: Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover.
Q: What does your criminal search cover?
A: The criminal search included in your package covers felonies and misdemeanors in the county in which the applicant currently resides. It is possible to cover additional counties for an additional fee of $10.00 per county searched. Please indicate on your request form that you would like to run additional county criminal searches. For example: The FCRA mandates that employers check no more than a seven year history. If you would like to conduct a seven year history, once we run a social security trace on the applicant we will be provided with an address history for that person and will know what counties need to be covered. Simply indicate on the cover sheet/request form that you would like a seven year history in addition to the current county of residence.
Q: Will there be any other fees besides the package price?
A: Excluding adding extra county criminal searches, there may be court fees that will be added to your package price. Most states do not have high court fees that we need to pass on to you, however, states such as New York, Michigan, Wyoming, Maine, South Dakota and Montana carry high court fees. Please call us for more information if your applicant happens to live in one of these states.
Q: What other searches do you recommend for a nanny background check?
A: While county criminal searches carry all information regarding sex offenses, it is always good to conduct a backup sex-offender registry search that searches the entire state.
